Please note

When talking about sightseeing and traveling


we often use expressions with go. In these
expressions, go can be followed by for, with,
to, on, or no preposition depending on if it is
a person, place, -ing activity, noun activity, or
travel words.

Examples
We plan to go windsurfing in June.
He goes crazy every time I do not pick up the phone.
I go for a run two times a week.

• Go can be followed by To if we talk about a place


• Example: He went to Paris last night.

• Go can be followed by With if we talk about a person


• Example: Please go with me!

• Go can be followed by For if we talk about


something/someone
• Example: Let‘s go for a movie!
• Example: We expect you to behave well, and the
same goes for your brother.

• Example: We like to go on a tour every time we visit
a new city.

• Go can be followed by No Preposition if we use ing-


activity
• Example: She likes to go camping.
