3. HAZARD IDENTIFICATION
Hazard Identification of Active Ingredients : Toxic to aquatic life. Avoid contamination of surface water. Hazardous
decompotition products is Hydrogen chloride (HCl), Oxides of Nitrogen (NO2).
Methods for cleaning up the empty container may be decontamined by rinsing two or three times
with water and detergent and srubbing the sides.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
Handling
Special protection measure When using, do not eat, drink or smoke. Wash hands and exposed skin
before meals and after work. Do not apply to humans, their clothing, or
beddig. Do not contaminate food or use on household tanks.
Storage Store at normal temperature, away from children, domestic animals, food
and feed products, seed and fertilizer. Do not contaminate other stored
products or the storage area by handling or storage of this product. Keep
a well-ventilated room.
Reproductive & Developmental Toxicity Reproduction: In a wo-generation, imidacloprid was primary reproductive
toxicant. Offspring exhibited reduced body weights at the high dose and
in conjunction with maternal toxicity.
Developmental Toxicity: In developmental toxicity studies in rats and
rabbits, there was no evidence of an embryotoxic or teratogenic potential
for imidacloprid. In both species, developmental effect were observed
only at high doses and in conjunction with maternal toxicity.
12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION
Do not contaminated water when disposing of equipment washwater. This product is highly toxic to bees exposed
to direct treatment or residues on blooming crops or weed. Do not apply this product or allow it to drift to blooming
crops or weeds if bees are visiting the treatment area. The use of this chemical in areas where soils are
permeable, particularly where the water table is shallow, may result groundwatetr contamination.
