Who We Are
Our mission is to be enable our students to get the most out of their education here at John F.
Kennedy University School of Medicine, reaching beyond their textbooks and examinations and
becoming well rounded professionals and human beings. It is finding the balance between
didactic learning and personal experiences that can make you not only a better student, but also
a better future physician. Upon the successful completion of our four (04) year degree of Medical
Doctor (M.D.). We also offer a Pre-Medical Program to the students whose qualification doesn't
meet the criteria of primary admission to our Medical Program as a bridge program. The Pre-
Medical program will be taught over three (3) semesters. After its successful completion,
students will be eligible to get the admission into our M.D. Program.
Why Us
JFK University School of Medicine has some advantages over other medical schools that should
be considered before making your final decision. We are trusted by hundreds of current students
and alumni at JFK and authorized by the Government of Curacao and other Medical Science
Authorities such as the Netherlands and Indian medical authorities. Our philosophy for
education believes that students are best taught medicine in large spaces, with one-on-one
instruction in a didactic setting, and with a promise in providing an education equivalent to that
of medical schools in the United States and Canada along with small class sizes and cohorts. The
JFK University School of Medicine is partnered with Maharishi University of Management and
the Walden University. Students can enroll in 2nd degree program or MD/MS/MPH or doctoral
program. Students in dual degree program qualify for federal and private loans. Canadian
students can also enroll in these programs throughout the year. Clinical transfers are also
encouraged to apply or get the federal private loans.
Vision
Our vision is to engage larger communities nationally and internationally whereby students can
engage in outreach programs to reduce health inequality in under-served populations. Our core
vision is to help students reach their full potential and become qualified physicians and
exceptional leaders in the field of medicine.
