    Title : SOP for Cleaning of Packing Area
    01. OBJECTIVE:
          To lay down a procedure for Cleaning of Packing Area.

    2.0      SCOPE:
          This SOP is applicable for Cleaning of Packing Area.

    3.0     RESPONSIBILITY:
           The Operator/Officer /Executive shall be Responsible for Cleaning of Packing Area.
     
    4.0      ACCOUNTABILITY:
    Manager, Production / Quality Control

    5.0       PROCEDURE:
    5.1       It is the responsibility of each and every person working in packing area to maintain the area and
    equipment in a neat & clean and orderly manner.
    5.2      Clean all the utensils used in packing, crates and machines with appropriate cleansing solutions,
    rinse with water and dry.
    5.3       Remove all the used material containers and polyethylene bags and other debris from the area
    and dispose as immediately as possible.

    5.4       Clean all the machines at the end of day’s work.

    5.5       Clean floors, walls and ceilings with vacuum cleaner to remove the dust.

    5.6       Clean the doors and window glasses with suitable solution using lint free cloth.

    5.7       Mop the floor with appropriate cleansing solution and wash with sufficient potable water.

    5.8       Then wash with DM water and wipe with dry clean lint free cloth to dry.

    5.9       Swab with 70.0% Isopropyl alcohol/2.5% Dettol/2.5% Savlon solution every alternate day.

    5.10     When cleaning has been completed, QA Officer & Packing In-charge must check the cleaning
    operation and approve the area/equipment.

    5.11 Keep the record.
