Do not take interest or any profit from them, but fear your God, so that your poor neighbors

fatherless, plead the case of the widow. James 2:5

Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of
the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him?
Proverbs 31:8-9

Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.
Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.

He called a little child, whom he placed among them. And he said: Truly I tell you, unless
you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
Therefore, whoever takes a humble place - becoming like this child - is the greatest in the
kingdom of heaven. Proverbs 3:11-1

My son, do not despise the LORD’s discipline, and do not resent his rebuke, because the
