EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The project titled “THE STUDY ON CUSTOMER PERCEPTION
TOWARDS MARUTI SWIFT” is conducted at Pratham Motors Pvt Ltd,
Bangalore which is an authorized dealer of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. The
Pratham Motors Pvt Ltd was incorporated in the year Nov 2001, as a private
limited company. The company is located on St.John’s road as well as Sarjapur
road and is being managed by Mr.Samar Vikram Bhasin. The sales section
covers the sale of all types of cars manufactured by the Maruti Udyog Ltd. The
Pratham Motors is having a well designed state-of-art showroom in Bellandur,
outer ring road. The study is made by adopting descriptive research method and
both primary and secondary data is being made use. Primary data for the
purpose of the study was obtained by interviewing the customers with the help
of a questionnaire. For this study 100 samples were selected from the
population in Bangalore. The questionnaire was administered for 100 samples.
From the findings we can interpret that the majority of respondents are
professionals and businessman compared to government employees. It is
suggested that Pratham Motors need to increase the awareness of the Maruti
Suzuki cars to the customers with the help of most popular media like
television, newspaper, hoardings etc.
