Copier 1000/3100/2400/5000 models.

High-Capacity Stacker – TS100
A. Introduction
The High-Capacity Stacker – TS100 is a new Non-Canon brand accessory
designed as a side-mounted accessory for the Color Laser Copier (CLC) 1000,
3100, 2400, and the 5000 models. Installed with magnetic latching and inline
casters at the paper output path, it stacks a wide variety media sheets handled
by these CLC models and will prove especially useful for those customers who
process large volume copy or print jobs.
B. Design Features
The High-Capacity Stacker – TS100 is designed to stack sheets during high
volume print jobs with the following features:
! Elevator tray to accommodate large volume jobs.
! Up to 2,500 sheet capacity (20 lb. Bond, 8.5” x 11” / 75gsm LTR size)
! Transports and stacks most standard paper sizes handled by the CLC.1
Acceptable paper sizes include: LTR, LTR-R, Legal, 11”x17”, & 12”x18”
! Supports 20 lb. Bond Paper to 80 lb. Cover stock, as well as other Canon
qualified transparencies and specialty papers.
! Auto Alert Functions:
1. Indicator Light (Green=Ready, Red=Not ready)
2. Over-Full Alarm
! The design allows for stacking media with a high level of reliability. The
High-Capacity Stacker-TS100 does not electronically interface with the
CLC copier. In the event the stacker elevator tray reaches maximum
capacity, the stacker will continue to accept copies. Therefore, operator
attention is required to stop the CLC to prevent a potential jam.

2. Consumables
There are no consumables associated with the High-Capacity
Stacker-TS100.
3. Periodic Maintenance
No periodic maintenance is required. However, it is suggested that the
rollers be cleaned on the same schedule as the main CLC unit. Also,
verify proper High-Capacity Stacker – TS100 operation after servicing
the CLC.
4. Escalation Procedure
Please refer to the appropriate CLC Service Guide for the Escalation
Procedure.
H. Training
The High-Capacity Stacker – TS100 does not require any service training.
I. Warranty
The warranty for the High-Capacity Stacker – TS100 is covered with the main
CLC unit 90-day warranty. Use the established Green Warranty Tag
procedures for parts claim reimbursement.
