Purpose - Inspection of existing semi automatic grinding / polishing machine ( Make Metkon )

Dear Mr. Cherekar

Thank you for the courtesy extended to us during the visit.

After an inspection at site, it was observed that the subject machine cannot be repaired at site. The same
needs to be taken at our works place , Sinhagad Road, Nanded Phata. After the inspection the estimation
shall be sent to you.

Since the technologies involved are pneumatic, mechanics, dedicated electronics ( embedded ) and
application part , to repair the machine it may take three to four months. During that period so as to support
the work we shall spare one of our manual double disc grinding polishing machine on service charge basis.
This would not attract much charges,but approx Rs. 7000 + service tax.

Hope that the proposal shall be found suitable.

Please find our offers for other machines like Dual auto polishing machine, Electro polishing with chillar,
microscope MGR – III with an image analyser, auto mounting machine etc.

Dual grinding / polishing machine has a robust construction with high torque power head
This machine will consist of following systems:

(I) PRINCIPLE GRINDING / LAPPING MACHINE:

Autopol-II (Dual) is continuously variable- speed Dual disc grinding / lapping machine powered by
high torque DC motors (independent for each disc) with electronic D.C. power supply. The machine
incorporates water faucet, smooth drainage , tough corrosion resistant bowl. Replaceable grinding
and lapping discs.

(II) POLISHING ARM

This system comprises of low speed very high torque (184 watts) reversible motor . Specimen holder
disc .Quick change coupling. Pneumatic central force application. Pneumatic connection / line to be

The arm has positioning arrangement over dual discs with pneumatic clutching.
