PAYMENT
75 percent of the total cost will be paid before production of the machines can start, another
15 percent of the total cost will be paid at the completion of the production before delivery
to the factory site. The remaining 10% will he paid after delivery, installation and test run.
DELIVERY PERIOD
Delivery of the machine shall be l2 weeks from the payment of the 75 percent and the
clearing of the cheque. Delivery cost will be borne by the client.
TEST RUN
Five tons of raw cassava tubers shall be required for the test run and it will be provided by you.
TRAINING
There is no extra cost for training your workers. You should have your electrician, welder,
machine operators and technicians participate in the installation and test run, so that they
will be trained on the spot.
WARRANTIES
6 months for any production problem excluding changeable parts affected by aging, misuse
and accident. The machines are robust, tested, rugged, resilient and very adaptable to rough
and humid African conditions. All the parts that have contact with cassava are made of
stainless steel to ensure quality and excellence. The machines will last for a long time once
they are maintained twice a year by changing the bearings.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT
We will give technical support such as supply of spare parts like the bearings, maintenance
of the machines, quality control to ensure the product meets the required standard and
specifications. We will also help in the export market through consultancy and brokerage.
VALIDITY
The quotation is valid for 90 days from the date of submission after which the price
may change.
DURATION OF CONSTRUCTION
12 weeks from the date of advance payment
GUARANTEE
All the equipment will be guaranteed for six months from date of installation.
THE SALIENT CRITICAL FACTORS OF THE MACHINES
The machines are robust, rugged, resilient and all made of Stainless Steel. They are tropicalised
and indigenized, to withstand the hot humid African weather.
THE HAMMER MILLS: which are the center of processing are bulky with 3mm Stainless
Steel housing to withstand prolonged milling and hazardous grinding. The electric motors of 20-
25HP are above industrial average and will sustain long usage, longevity and minimum
maintenance.
THE FLASH DRYER: is strategic in determining the moisture content of the flour/starch
and the shelf life. It is domesticated by the introduction of the Heat exchanger. The Exchanger
enables the dryer to use either fossil fuel or alternative fuels like charcoal, Palm kernel shells,
palm fibers, wood etc. The flash dryer consumes about 150 litres of diesel per day at the price
of Nl20 –N150 per litre. The exorbitant cost of fuel has driven most processors out of business.
Our Heat Exchanger is the panacea for business sustainability and profitability. A Flash Dryer
that is fossil fuel-driven only is an invitation to fiasco. Our Flash Dryers are produced with
2.5mm Stainless Steel which is also above industrial average.
THE ROTARY DRYER: Is very bulky with an impressive capacity of 25tons per day. It is
made of Stainless Steel and equally domesticated with the Heat Exchanger. The Heat exchanger
is very pertinent in light of the high volume of fossil fuel consumed in drying the cassava chips.
A dryer with the heat exchanger will minimize cost and increase profit by consuming less fuel.
OUR PRICES: are very competitive despite the durability of the machines. Our fabricators
have made the machines affordable to encourage processors.
You can either produce flour and starch or flour alone. Some processors prefer both to increase
the scope of production and profit. Most of the equipment for flour is also used for starch and
garri. It requires the addition of a few equipment.
