LLAGAS, REINAN EZEKIEL F.

BLIS – 1B

My Motherland

I was born on The Pearl of The Orient Seas

A country where millions of people exist
Divided by islands and culture practiced
Endowed with God’s graces and gifts.

Divided in some aspects that we believe in

Probably it’s the nature of the world we live in
No room for cultural diversity to see in
Let us stop racism while the clock’s still tickin’.

Crystals, diamonds or ashes, foes or friend

We’re all going to end up the same in the end
Stand as one, Were stronger hand in hand united
Spread love, Live life without the hatred.

Though the world is battling with pandemic

My motherland will stay strong and never panic
Against invaders and conquerors we’re frantic
Until the end a Filipino devotedly patriotic.
