actions have been implemented to ensure the safety and flexible workflow throughout the project period:

i. The contractors have surveyed the area and provided a foundation plan on how the project will start.
ii. Transparency of project documents such as Bidding Document, Cost of Materials, and Construction Cost.
iii. The total cost of construction is approximately ₱ 13,131,913.24 rest assured that the estimation cost of the
project based on the provided budget plan of the company.
iv. The construction period shall be of 244 days; any extension and reconstruction outside the plan shall be
accompanied with compensation and extra charges.
v. The Firm collaborates with subcontractors and suppliers for the initiation of the plan, rest assured that all
outside collaboration are valid and eligible by the contract.
vi. Collaborators and Suppliers will be noted and represented by this contract. (Logo and Name Below)
vii. When the contract is accepted, the firm will immediately proceed to the scheduled plan and assumes that
the client will uphold their responsibilities in the contract.

the site and familiarized himself with all factors affecting the cost and construction. He has examined and
read all Plans, Specifications, General and Special Conditions, and other Contract Documents and all
Addenda thereto; and is acquainted with and fully understands the extent and character of the work
covered by this proposal and the specified requirements for the proposed work. He submits this Bid for the
General Construction Contract of YMCA Apartments in the Sky, as prepared by those listed below with no

to eight month construction project. The contractor shall include his schedule with the bid.

INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS

Bid Instructions:

1. The Bidder shall study and compare the Bid Documents (specifications, drawings, geotechnical report) with each other,
and with other work being bid concurrently or presently under construction to the extent that it relates to the Work for
which the Bid is submitted, shall examine the site and local conditions, and shall immediately report to the Landscape
Architect errors, inconsistencies, or ambiguities discovered prior to submitting bids.

2. Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bid Documents shall make a written Request for Information. Only
RFI’s from the Bidder will be accepted and RFI’s direct from sub‐bidders will not be addressed. Requests for Information
shall be submitted no later than October 15, 2020 and be emailed to to Arch. Oliver Austria
Oliveraustria@ARCHITECHTAS.corp.

3. Clarifications and corrections of the Bid Documents will be made by Addendum. Clarifications and corrections
made in any other manner will not be binding.

4. Each Bidder shall ascertain prior to submitting a Bid that the Bidder has received all Addenda issued, and the Bidder
shall acknowledge their receipt in the Bid.

5. The Bidder’s attention is called to the Report of Geotechnical Exploration contained herein. All construction shall be
completed in accordance with this report. The entire site is available to any bidder for surface or subsurface investigation.
In addition, Geotechnical Exploration reports identify certain ground water depths. The bidders are cautioned that these
depths may not be representative of conditions as they exist today and should be field verified.
6. The bidder shall include any allowances in the total stipulated lump sum bid amount.

7. The Contractor is required to perform all tests as required by the County and applicable utility companies prior to project
acceptance.

8. The contractor shall apply for, secure and pay for all construction permits, building permits, right of way construction
permits, electrical permits, meter, installation fees, and electrical inspection fees, as applicable.

9. The Contractor shall complete his work in a professional and workman like manner typical of his industry. There shall
be no sections or parts missing. Further, the work shall be complete and able to function for its intended use. The
work must be continuous.

10. The Contractor’s Superintendent shall be onsite during hours of construction for the duration of the project.

11. Where specific products, manufacturers or suppliers are indicated or specified by name, these items are to be included
within the Contractor’s bid. Substitution of these items will only be considered as stipulated under the conditions for
product substitutions.

12. All other instructions to Bidders shall be in accordance with AIA document A701‐1997.
