Steps For Creating Random Test

1. To create a test in Blackboard, login and select the course where the test will be made. 2. Click "Tests, Surveys, and Pools" and then "Pools" to build the question pool by adding short answer questions and attaching files or typing questions. 3. Create the test by clicking "Assessments" and then "Test" where you name the test and select the question pool, set the points and timer, and make the test available to students.

Steps for creating test in blackboard:

Login to blackboard LMS using sonalearn.org


Choose the course where the test to be created
Click Tests, Surveys, and Pools under course tools
Click Pools
Click Build Pools
Give Pool name
Click Short Answer
Click Insert File and attach the document or Type the in the Question Text Box .now one question set is created
Repeat the same steps and create second short answer with question set number two
Repeat the same steps and create second short answer with question set number two. Now click submit button
Update the marks for the questions by clicking all check boxes and put points as 50 and click update button and
click ok button
Click the + icon and click Content Area link
Step 4: Type in the folder name also click the checkbox available to users and click the submit button. A new
folder will be created with the given name.
Step 5: Click on the folder created
Step 6: Click Assessments and click test link
Step 7: Click the create button
Step 8: Type the test name and click submit
Click reuse question and click random block
Check the question poll name , the click all pool question and click ok
Select the random block, enter points as 50 and click update button. Finally click ok button.
Click the test and click the submit button
choose yes in make available to students options and set the timer to respective minutes
Choose auto submit ON also choose display after and display until date and time and click submit button. Now
the test is created sucessfully
