QUARTER 1 VIRTUAL LEARNING HIGHLIGHTS!

Why did the chickens cross the road? To visit Mrs. Tomitaʻs class because Kumu Renea was
reading the book, "Interrupting Chicken.” Woo hoo! We loved having our morning visitors!

Kumu Waianuheaʻs Papa ʻElima haumāna got

their ʻohana involved with their learning. One
student is introducing her grandmother in
Hawaiian while another student teaches her
grandmother a dance learned in class. So
much love. :) Another lesson involves a
brain-break between CORE subjects where the
students learn how to draw for their Hoʻolauna
activity. Check out those portrait drawings!
