Registration of donors

Aside from the bloodletting activity, the Pledge 25 has HIV Symposium to raise awareness on
the issue of HIV-AIDS. Different attendees from different colleges of Cavite State University, the
program started by Invocation and National Anthem followed by welcoming remarks from the
Guidance Facilitator of the College of Nursing, Dr. Bernadette A. Sapinoso.
HIV Symposium led by Mr. Ivan Derek V. Wycoco, a Registered Nurse and has a Master’s
Degree on Nursing. He imparted his knowledge about HIV and AIDS. His lecture entitled
“HIV/AIDS: ARAT! PAG-USAPAN NATIN, G?!” tackles about the latest trends and issue
about the disease.
Red Cross Volunteers started the bloodletting activity step by step with the help of 3 rd year and
4th year Nursing Students. The process starts by getting vital signs, blood typing and
assessment of the donors done by the credible professionals.
