DELIVERY PLAN (C8)
OBJECTIVE: State clearly the purpose of this lesson and why students need to learn it. It will also be visible on the
Rigor board. Will share a short video on Health behaviors. What they will be able to do and how they will show
learning as a result. Refer to the objective multiple times during the lesson.
OPENING:
Retrieval Use enthusiasm and positive energy almost humor to get students engaged on short video they just
watched. Be clear and brief to make connections from what they are watching to questions I am and to
check for student knowledge. The purpose of video will be to retrieve former information and build new
information to make the connections and explain what students will learn in this lesson.
TEACHER INPUT:
Relevance Students stop, looks and listens to the Lecture on board that will be listed and the various health
behaviors that create change in a positive way and how to maintain a health behavior .
MODEL:
Routing Reinforce what they know and will know at end of lesson by clear instruction and expectations of the objective
for this lesson. They will write in there journals and team up in pairs to review what we discussed in class and
lecture.
GUIDED PRACTICE:
Retaining / Rehearsing
Teacher will provide students with 2 websites that give ideas and styles around the globe on how others create, explain,
and maintain a health behavior. Create flash cards to use in our class discussion and use Rally Robin/Venn Diagram to see
what they know or don’t know yet.
INDEPENDENT PRACTICE:
Students independently through their Ipad/Laptop will have a quiz to access to see if students have mastered the
objective that was being taught.
RESOURCES / MATERIALS:
Give students 2 websites that give ideas and styles around the globe. Create 2 flash cards to use in our class discussion.

Credit Card – Give students an index card. They are required to explain and how to maintain a health behavior. Credit will
be given for participating.
