General block diagram of instrumentation system, Active and passive
transducers. Strain Gauges, Resistive, Inductive & Capacitive Transducers. 09
II Transducers for measurement of Displacement, Velocity, Force, & Torque.
Static and dynamic characteristics and performances of instruments. Statistical
treatment of measurement errors. Gaussian error distribution, probability
tables, combination of errors

Measurement of active & reactive power in single & three phase circuits, using
