Plagiarism is not only an unethical practice but also a serious
academic offence in educational institutions. It is of utmost importance that students educate themselves about plagiarism and its repercussions. Although the internet has made plagiarizing very convenient, the technology in this day and age has also made it easy to detect plagiarism. To ensure that no one gets away with duplicating content, the IBA uses various anti-plagiarism software to identify any plagiarism in assignments/thesis submitted by students or reports/research papers of faculty members.
We have zero tolerance towards plagiarism and anyone found
violating the rules outlined in this booklet will have to face serious consequences. This booklet covers all the details regarding our plagiarism policy and we expect our students and faculty members to strictly abide by it. The IBA takes pride in being one of the top universities in Pakistan and we will continue to impart quality education to our students for many years to come.
