RDA-V
Aluminum Double End
Break Vee Switch

The Industry’s premiere double end break

switch in its most compact configuration
becomes even more capable.
Southern States RDA, the “big brother” to Southern States RDA-1 double end break
switch, is also available in a more compact version, the RDA-V, at an astounding
5000 A continuous current carrying capability. The RDA-V shares the same live
parts as the conventional base length RDA, but the RDA-V can fit on center break
Vee switch style structures and on vertical break switch phase spacing, resulting in
the smallest space consumption switch design available in the marketplace today.

BENEFITS SPECIFICATIONS
• Meets all ANSI standards Maximum Voltage Rating
• Allows the most simple structure designs 123 kV – 362 kV

• Maximum versatility (upright, vertical, or underhung mounting) Continuous Current Rating

5000 A
• Low profile. Requires minimum overhead clearance
