Introduction

This work below has as its theme "The most important tourist landscapes in the
Caribbean". This is a broad topic where we will get to know many tourist places and
attractions in the Caribbean. Places where many foreigners come on vacation.
These are places we may have heard mentioned, but we don't know anything about this
place and we don't know where it is.
Then we will leave doubts and we will learn better.
Most important tourist landscapes in the
Caribbean

The Caribbean has some of the most beautiful tourist destinations in the world. This

makes it popular with tourists from all over the planet. Many people, however, have

trouble deciding which island to visit. Although it may seem to you that all the islands

of the Caribbean are equally desirable and perfect, the fact is that there are significant

differences between them. Let's take a look at the ten best islands in the Caribbean and

the most suitable type of traveler for each of them.

Aruba

Aruba offers a number of varied activities for people of all ages. On the one hand, it is

very familiar, which is why it has many tourist centers aimed at families with children.

On the other hand, you can find many activities designed for adults only, such as

nightlife and a wide variety of casinos. Aruba also has a slightly different landscape

than many Caribbean islands; it looks more like a desert than a forest.

St. Lucia

Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean, Saint Lucia has

long been a famous spot for honeymooners. It has many hotel complexes with all-

inclusive pension and plenty of amenities, with a lush landscape with mountains, as well

as beaches with crystal clear waters. The island is also famous for its annual jazz

festival, which is held every spring.

Barbados

Barbados is one of the most versatile islands in the Caribbean, offering a wide range of

accommodation and activity options. It has visitor accommodation that adapts to all

budgets and with an important diversity of landscapes and cultural activities. Tourists

enjoy visiting the bustling city of Bridgetown, which dates back to the 17th century.

One of the most spectacular attractions on the island is the "Harrison Cave", an

incredible formation that can be admired from a tram.

Anguilla

Anguilla is especially famous for its white sand beaches of which there are over 30 to

choose from. It is one of the smallest islands in the Caribbean, so it can be visited

without problems in a couple of days. It is a perfect place for those seeking a quiet, less

touristy Caribbean experience. But, anyway, you can find an interesting nightlife to

stimulate you after a relaxing day at the beach.

St. John

Since St John belongs to the United States Virgin Islands, US citizens can visit it

without the need for a passport. There are quite a few good deals in both St. Thomas

and St. John right now, so it's a good option for travelers on a tighter budget. Divers

should not miss visiting Trunk Bay, one of the best diving places in the entire Caribbean

with incredible marine fauna.

Punta Cana

It is the great Caribbean treasure and one of the most requested destinations. The

beautiful beaches of Punta Cana with stretches of coconut trees that are lost to view, its

crystal-clear waters and its calm are a tourist attraction of the first order. This

paradisiacal area has some of the most spectacular beaches in the world such as Bávaro

beach, Uvero Alto beach, Macao or El Cortecito. But its coasts are not the only

attraction because the wildest nature surrounds them creating a landscape as delicious as

it is full of rich flora and fauna.

If yours is not all day lying roasting in the sun, this area of the Dominican Republic

offers many more options through excursions and routes to enjoy its natural splendor

such as jeep safaris, quads or monster trucks through the jungle or visits to its

waterfalls, islands or the famous cenote Hoyo Azul, without forgetting that it is a perfect

place to practice water sports such as diving, snorkeling, wakesurfing or kitebording.

Probably the best-known area in the country, and one of the most important Caribbean

tourist destinations of the moment, located in the southeast of the island. Bathed by the

Mona Channel, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean Sea, kilometers of white

sand and turquoise sea, framed by coconut trees. The perfect place for a vacation, as a

family, as a couple or with friends. For lovers of the sun, relaxation or beach sports.

Enjoy your favorite cocktail during the day and go dancing at night in the catchy

Caribbean rhythms, such as bachata, salsa or meringue.

Samaná

Samaná is one of the most attractive places in the Dominican Republic. It is the ideal

place for those who are in search of adventure and contact with nature in Los Haitises
National Park. Among the main activities that can be done here are finding scuba diving

and whale mating.

The Haitises

Located in the northeast of the Dominican Republic, it is an unforgettable place where

you can see:

The subtropical forest: humid, with all its flora and fauna.

 The classic Caribbean mangrove swamp: with intricate roots that fascinate the

water, creating complex networks of roots and branches that give life and shelter

to hundreds of creatures.

 The rich landscape: it looks like something out of a movie, framed by exotic

birds, tropical treetops, mysterious corners and waters full of secrets.

 Caves, mountains and small islets: they emerge from the surface telling us a

story that only the most sensitive can understand.

Holbox, el paraíso de la bioluminiscencia

This small Mexican island located in the extreme north of the state of Quintana Roo is

one of the jewels of this part of the country. One of the best places in the Caribbean,

with an extension of just 40 km, Holbox stands out for its incredible white sand beaches

and transparent turquoise blue sea.

In the center of the island you can enjoy delicious fresh fish dishes. We also rent the

popular golf carts, which are the only form of transportation on the entire island.

 Yalahay: It is another important attraction of Holbox, a crystal-clear spring that

holds as much beauty as it does history. It is said that it has healing properties,

so this beautiful waterhole is considered a fountain of youth.

 Bioluminescence: Holbox's biggest attraction is reserved for the night. You can

take a tour under the stars on the beach where they could witness the incredible

phenomenon of bioluminescence. It is the process through which living

organisms produce light resulting from a biochemical reaction.

Laguna de los 7 Colores, magical place

Located in the coastal city of Bacalar in the southern state of Quintana Roo, Bacalar is

one of the best places in the Caribbean. Here we can find the Laguna de los 7 Colores, a

paradisiacal and incomparable town that stands out for its wonderful shades of blue. Its

50 kilometers in length along with its bottom soils, of different depths and the rays of

the sun help the waters of the Lagoon to show an incredible diversity of blue colors that

result in the name of this precious attraction of the Caribbean.

The seven shades of blue that this colorful and beautiful lagoon has attract thousands of

tourists every year who take the opportunity to:

 Go snorkelling

 Diving

 Take boat rides

 Observe in all its splendor these beautiful natural colors

Conclution

In short, this work has taught me many new things, places I have never heard and the

location of some, it is very important to know the tourist places of our beautiful

Caribbean and mainly of our country Dominican Republic.

With this work I have taken into account some tourist places to visit someday, places

where one meets oneself, where one finds peace and tranquility.

I went to Samaná (Santa Bárbara de Samaná) is a city on the Samaná peninsula in the

Dominican Republic. It has a viewpoint towards the bay of Samaná, which is home to

miles of humpback whales during the time of appearance, which occurs in winter. The

main attraction of the Whale Museum is a large skeleton of a whale. The town's

promenade, the Malecon, has restaurants and bars. Cayo Levantado, located in the bay,

is a small island known for its beaches with palm trees, I love that place.

Love this final work.
