    REMOVE tourniquet from the INSERT the wounded limb through ROUTE strap around the limb;
    casualty’s JFAK and/or carrying the tourniquet strap loop. pass the tip through the buckle.

    POSITION the tourniquet above the PULL strap as TIGHTLY as possible, RATCHET maneuver device as tightly
    bleeding site, high on the extremity removing all excess slack. as possible until the bleeding has
    over the clothing/uniform. stopped (complete steps 1-5 in
    under 1 min).

    LOCK the ratchet on itself (it will If no other major bleeding is
