PROISIONAL ADMISSION NOTICE (B.TECH. 1st YEAR) – 2020
The candidates who have been allotted seats by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board for
admission into 1st year B. Tech. 2020 at Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College are hereby instructed to
follow the procedure given below and to complete the entire procedure by 31stOctober, 2020 up to
11.59.59 pm.
1. Pay the requisite fees in online mode.

Please pay the Admission Fee through NEFT / Direct online bank transfer/ any online payment modules (i.e.
BHIM, Google pay/Paytm/Phone pay etc.) to the college A/C.within 31stOct, 2020 up to 5pm.

exceed 1MB

3. After successful submission of the form you will get a pdf copy of the above form. Print the report & put
your signature on it and submit at the time of physical verification.

At the time of starting of classes (Physical Attendance) in this college, the students have to bring in required documents (original &
photocopy) for Physical Verification. Failing to submit the required document will lead to cancelation of the candidature of the said

b) Hypermetropat not exceeding 14D hypermetropic astigmatism correcting lens not exceeding 4D acuteness
of vision after correction 6/9 in one and another.
B- Disqualifying
a) Defective vision arising from nebula or the cornea or any pathological condition of the deeper
structures.
b) Colour blindness (achronatopsia).
c) Paralysis of the exterior muscles of the eye.
