Top-Rated Tourist Attractions in Bali
Pura Tanah Lot
About 20 kilometers northwest of Kuta, Pura Tanah Lot ("Pura" means temple in
Balinese) is one of Bali's most iconic temples thanks to its spectacular seaside setting on
a rocky islet surrounded by crashing waves. For the Balinese people, it is one of the
most sacred of all the island's sea temples.

Ubud Monkey Forest

Only 10 minutes' walk south of the town center in Ubud, the Monkey Forest, also
known as the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, is one of the top attractions in this
tourist town and a must-see for animal lovers and photographers. Besides the
entertaining troops of grey long-tailed macaques that make their home here, a large
part of the appeal is the evocative jungle setting where the monkeys roam free.

Pura Ulun Danu Bratan

On a small island along the western shore of Lake Bratan, in the cool highlands of
central Bali, the 17th-century Pura Ulun Danu Bratan is one of Bali's most picturesque
temple complexes. Set against the imposing backdrop of Gunung Bratan, the thatched
temples reflect on the lake, and when the water levels rise, they seem to float on its
surface. Lake Bratan is one of Bali's main sources of irrigation and drinking water, and
the temple complex is dedicated to Dewi Danu, goddess of the sea and lakes.

Kuta Beach
In Kuta Beach, you can book surf lessons and rent surfboards, boogie boards, sun
loungers, and umbrellas directly from vendors set up on the sand, and plenty of cafes
and restaurants border the beach. Beach vendors are easily dissuaded with a polite "no
thank you," but an icy cold coconut sloshing with juice served directly to your
sunlounger can be a blessing on a sultry day.

Uluwatu Temple
Uluwatu Temple (Pura Luhur Uluwatu) is one of the island's most famous temples,
thanks to its magnificent clifftop setting. In Balinese, "Ulu" means "tip" or "land's end"
and "Watu" means rock, a fitting name for the location of the temple on the Bukit
Peninsula along the island's southwestern tip. Like Pura Tanah Lot, sunset is the best
time to visit, when the sky and sea glow in the late afternoon light.

Top-Rated Tourist Attractions in Lombok

BENANG KELAMBU WATERFALL
Once you reach Benang Kelambu Waterfall, you will get mesmerized
by the waterfall, Instead of flowing through stones, the waterfall is
flowing through plants. The word “Kelambu” means curtain and the
plants are framing the waterfall just like a window and curtain. There
are six waterfall spots and two or them are stretching like a curtain.
Tony, a guide on Benang Kelambu Waterfall said that the water flows
through Benang Kelambu Waterfall and Setokel waterfall does not
pass any river.

GILI TRAWANGAN
Gili Trawangan is one of the most popular Gili or islands in Lombok.
Not only is the island served stunning beach and great nature, but also

beach; you can tan your skin and grab your coconut that you can buy
there. You can also find rows of restaurants that serve various foods
and beverages that can be enjoyed together with the magnificent
view of Tanjung Aan Beach.

GILI MENO
This Gili Lombok is having so many magnets that you cannot resist, so
it should be on the top list of your schedule. To reach Gili Meno, you
can choose one of these two routes. First, you can start from
Mataram- Senggigi- Pemenang through the beach route. It takes
about an hour to reach Gili Meno through this route if we are using
private car or motorcycle. Along this route, you will be pleased with
the magnificent view of blue ocean that is framed with white sand.
The road on this route was built to follow the contour of the lands.
There are some best spots on this route like Malimbu Hill and
Serumbung Hill. Make sure to stop by and take some pictures there.

Top-Rated Tourist Attractions in Raja Ampat

Pianemo

Pianemo is one of the most photographed places in Raja Ampat,

so much so it has almost become a symbol of the area. However,
as popular as it is, there are rarely many tourists there at one
time. Climbing from the dock up a set of wooden stairs you’ll be
awe struck by the beauty of the landscape below you. The islets
jut out of the sparkling turquoise waters making for a scene like
no other against the endless blue sky. You can spend time here
admiring the view and taking photos before heading back down
to get in the water.

Arborek Village

Known as the Arborek Tourism Village, this is the most famous

village in Raja Ampat for tourists to visit. Most of the women
here now make handicrafts for a living and there are also
villagers from young to old that perform traditional dances. The
village isn’t very big and only has around 40 families living there
but it’s a really enjoyable way to get to know a little about
the people and culture. Walking around you can see traditional
houses, rickety jetties and often kids playing and splashing in the
water that are wonderful to chat to and photograph.
Batanta Island Waterfall

Batanta Island is one of the largest islands in Raja Ampat making

it the perfect place for exploring. The island is just about 30
minutes by boat from Papua Paradise Eco Resort, which
runs tours to Batanta to trek to the waterfall. From where the
boats anchor it’s about a 40-minute trek on forest paths and
rocky terrain to the beautiful waterfall. The walk is 100% worth
it though because once you’re there you can enjoy the fresh cool
water, explore the cave behind the falls and watch the variety of
wildlife.

Pasir Timbul

Like something out of a dream, Pasir Timbul is a stretch of sand

that emerges out of the ocean only at low tide. The water here is
crystal clear and the sand so powdery white you’ll hardly believe
your eyes. You can enjoy playing and relaxing on the beach,
taking photos and watching the underwater life without even
using a snorkel. Pasir Timbul is just off the island of Mansuar
about 30 minutes by boat from Arborek village.

Hornbill Island

Hornbills are one of the most incredible bird species in Raja

Ampat and seeing them in their home environment is a very
special sight indeed. Hornbills congregate on a small island off
the coast of Batanta Island where the mangroves are thick and
healthy. In the evening around sunset the hornbills come to
roost here for the night. You can watch them fly in, almost
always in pairs, and settle in with the group.
