AFFIDAVIT

I, ARTURO A. ALHAMBRA, of legal age, Filipino citizen, married, and


currently residing at #81 Engineer’s Hill, Baguio City, Philippines, after having
been duly sworn in accordance with law, hereby depose and state that:

1) I am the father of HERA ZASVIR DIANO ALHAMBRA, born on


29 August 1986 at Baguio City, who is currently applying for a Canadian
Permanent Resident Visa;

2) I am currently working as a Tourist Information Assistant with the


Baguio Tourism Council, as evidenced by my Employment Contract,
attached and marked hereto as Annex “A”;

3) My wife is Mary Ann Babdaac Alhambra, who is also the mother


of my daughter. She has been working as an Overseas Filipino Worker
since 1992. She is currently employed in Hong Kong, as evidenced by her
Employment Contract, attached and marked hereto as Annex “B”;

4) My sons are Noel Mark Diano Alhambra and Santiago Jefrey


Diano Alhambra, both of whom are brothers of my daughter. They are
currently employed with Carlson Wagonlit Travel and Hewlett-Packard Asia
Pacific (Hong Kong) Limited Philippine Regional Operating Headquarters,
correspondingly. This is shown in their Certificates of Employment and
Income Tax Returns, attached and marked hereto as Annexes “C”, “D”,
“E” and “F”, respectively;

5) From November 2009 up to present, my wife, my sons and I have


been regularly depositing certain amounts in Philippine currency in my
daughter’s account with Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) –
Baguio Business Center, with Account No. 000000-1-326-84655-0.
Attached is a Bank Certification showing the available balance of three
hundred seventy-nine thousand, one hundred ninety-five pesos and
77/100 (PhP379,195.77) as of 28 December 2015, marked as Annex “G”;

6) Likewise, from May 2015 up to present, we have also been regularly


depositing certain amounts in Philippine currency in my daughter’s account
with the Philippine National Bank (PNB) Baguio Branch, with Account No.
600842600018. A Certification from PNB shows that the account has an
outstanding balance of one hundred sixty thousand, six hundred eight
pesos and 20/100 (PhP160,608.20) as of 29 December 2015, attached and
marked hereto as Annex “H”;

7) Such deposits were our gratuitous gifts given to her for special
occasions and as our support since my daughter is the youngest and the only
girl in the family;
8) Such gratuitous gifts are reasonable and within our means as we have
stable sources of income and savings, as indicated earlier;

9) My daughter is also employed and part of her earnings are deposited


in the said accounts;

10) I am executing this affidavit to attest to the truth of the


foregoing, to comply with the requirements of the proper government
agencies, and for all legal intents and purposes that it may serve.

SUBSCRIBED and SWORN to BEFORE ME, a Notary Public in and for


the City of Baguio, this 20th day of January 2016. Affiant personally came and
appeared before me, presenting his respective identification card, particularly
described below his name and personally signed the foregoing instrument before
me and avowed under penalty of law to the whole truth of the contents of said
instrument.
