important in promoting the growing tourism industry.

more….“ADK THOUGHTS FROM THE HEART”

For me the most meaningful part of Alpha Delta Kappa membership has been and
continues to be the sisterhood. I have traveled with North Carolina sisters to
International Conventions where I met sisters from across the nation. At state
conventions and district conferences, I have bonded with state and district sisters.
Most of all I treasure my Alpha Phi sisters who have supported me through
successes,  joys, and difficult times.

Pat Dawson reported that there was a good pick-up at Kay Jewelers and delivery went well. She also reported that Fox 8
did a segment on Wednesday 12/2/20 on Leslie’s House and what they are doing to help their clients find housing and
jobs. Amy ran the video from her link.

Amanda announced that the scholarship link goes live on line on December 10. It was suggested that guidance counselors
need information on how to send students to fill out the applications, and even possibly get teachers involved. It was also
suggested that we look for ways to get more high school teachers involved in ADK.

Amy announced that next month’s program will be Vicki Miller and Meg Sheehan presenting their Non-Profit program

Amy led us in singing Happy Birthday to all the sisters with December birthdays.
