2. Maintenance
2) Slowly open the two (2) valves that isolate the off-line strainer housing and slowly close
the two (2) valves that isolate the on-line strainer housing with the debris-laden basket.
This step ensures continuous operation of the process.
3) When pressure is relieved and fluid drained, open the cover of the strainer housing that
contains the debris-laden basket. Lift or swing this cover away until it is free of basket
well.
4) Remove the debris-laden filter. Invert the filter and wash out the debris.
Direct a stream of air, water, or steam from the exterior of the filter to the interior.
NOTE: Do not permit the basket debris to dry, as it would be difficult to
remove and clean the filter.
6) When the peeling of the coating and corrosion of body progress, shall be sure carried out
proper maintenance work ¹⁾
7) After the maintenance works, Strainer have to be sufficiently dried before filter installation.
8) Assemble the strainer in reverse order after check the strainer's drying condition.
1. When local defects(Cut, Bubble, Hole etc.) are discovered on lined surface, the
defect rubber shall be cut with a knife.
2. Rubber cement shall be applied on the new rubber and on the edge of the part
to be repaired.
5. When a defective area is relatively small and the epoxy resin base material is
