The BoPET process and requirements

 Dosing – Granulated chips of PET are dosed and mixed wıth
scrap and suitable additives are added

 Extrusion – the mix material is melted and plasticised to

achieve homogenity

 Die Casting – the melted materials of each layer are cast in

the die

 Vertical stretching – after hearing, the cast sheet is stretched

vertically (annealing process)

 Horizontal stretching – the cast ıs stretched horizontally

before annealing and this determıne the wıdth of BOPET film

 Pull Roll Station – after measurement of thıckness the film is

treated by corona treatment fo allow printability

 Wider – the film ıs then wound onto metal rolls

 Slitter – the cool fılm ıs unwound from metal rolls and wound
