    Hunting Lead Filled Wireline Stem Bars, often referred to as “sinker bars”,
    are designed to serve one purpose. They provide the weight required to
    overcome friction and pressure differential within the stuffing box during
    wireline operations, allowing the toolstring to descend into the well.

    Lead filled Stem Bars are utilised as a substitute for conventional stem bars
    when extra weight is required. However, they should not be used in operations
    where heavy jarring is expected.
