PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Accountant I, Tampa Electric Company, Tampa, FL May 2019 – Current
I have undergone two major role changes while in this position which shows that I adhere to adaptability
very well. My main tasks consisted of being the Accountant for two subsidiaries: TECO Properties and Emera
Technologies. I completed the entire close-out process for these two companies and all necessary reports to
ensure reliability of the financials statements along with bank reconciliations.

I am also the accountant for all of the prepaid insurance policies. I prepare and maintain all Prepaid Insurance
journal entries across all companies and reconciliation analysis. I prepare and update the forecast/budget
activities for Tampa Electric, Peoples Gas and New Mexico Gas Co. I've also taken over the Labor Reports and
multiple other FERC Reconciliation reports to ensure accuracy.

I am now recently learning the payable billing pertaining to Emera and their affiliates. This involves dealing
with currency exchange rates from Canadian and Barbadian Dollars. I will have the opportunity to learn more
about international accounting, cross-border charging and policies that need to be considered when our
employees provide services to any of the affiliates outside of the U.S.

Accountant I, Tampa Electric Company, Tampa, FL May 2019 – Sept 2019

During this time, I was responsible for all Energy Delivery Billing functions and creation of new customers in
our system. This included generating invoices, providing superior customer service and processing payments in
a timely manner. I learned how to effectively use SAP, PowerPlan and WorkPro while I was in this position.
Additionally, I "audited" jobs that Distribution Design Technicians completed out in the field to make sure
material was issued out correctly so the company's expense and capital amounts would be represented more
accurately.

Prepared Tampa Electric Company's cash flow package monthly to ethically reflect the company's financial
health and to help analyze cash available for business operations.

Assisted Analysts and Manager with identifying and implementing enterprise wide process improvements and
best practices to address business needs, enhance work flow efficiency and import accuracy of reported
financial date through consistent reporting across functional areas.
