With the challenging times of this COVID 19 pandemic and in support of Division Memorandum No.
567,s. 2020 entitled, “ Orientation-Workshop on the Utilization of the New PHIL-IRI and Division
Memorandum No. 568, s. 2020 entitled “ Orientation-Workshop on the 3B’s (Bawat Bata Bumabasa)
Initiatives”, a District- Based Echo Orientation- Workshop on the Utilization of the Phil-IRI and the 3B’s
(Bawat Bata Bumabasa)Initiatives is to be conducted for teachers to gain knowledge in utilizing the
PHIL-IRI and 3B’s in their respective classrooms.
I humbly request on your good office asking permission that the Inopacan District Teaching Force will
conduct a THREE-DAY DISTRICT-BASED ECHO ORIENTATION-
WORKSHOP ON THE UTILIZATION OF THE PHIL-IRI AND THE 3B’S (BAWAT BATA
BUMABASA) INITIATIVES which will be held on January 13-15, 2021. This will be in two rooms with
10 and 9 participants per room to ensure that this strictly follow the health protocols and standards issued
by the Inter-Agency Task Force(IATF) in our municipality.

I. GENERAL PROGRAM INFORMATION
Program Title: “ 3 Day District-Based Echo Orientation- Workshop on the Utilization of the Phil-
IRI and the 3B’s (Bawat Bata Bumabasa) Initiatives”
Program Description: This is a three-day training of selected teachers from different schools in the district where
safety protocols will be observed.
The training’s primary intent is to improve teachers’ competence in utilizing the Phil-IRI and
the 3B’s Initiatives and prepare action plans regarding these matters.
Prerequisite Programs: ELLN, ELLNA
Duration and Location: Three (3) Days: January 13-15, 2020

Rationale: In support of Division Memorandum No. 567,s. 2020 entitled, “ Orientation-Workshop on the
Utilization of the New PHIL-IRI and Division Memorandum No. 568, s. 2020 entitled “
Orientation-Workshop on the 3B’s (Bawat Bata Bumabasa) Initiatives”, a District- Based Echo
Orientation- Workshop on the Utilization of the Phil-IRI and the 3B’s (Bawat Bata
Bumabasa)Initiatives is to be conducted for teachers to gain knowledge in utilizing the PHIL-
IRI and 3B’s in their respective classrooms.
Objective(s): The training intends to:
a. Discuss the new Phil-IRI as an assessment tool which aims to measure and describe
learners reading performance;
b. Gain common understanding on how to conduct and utilize test for class instructions;
c. Discuss the different domains of literacy;
d. Plan and design reading activities suited and appropriate to the kind of learners the
teacher has; and Prepare and submit a school action plan on the orientation-workshop
of English and Filipino teachers in the school
