pattern will repeat until the ignition is turned OFF.

• The Lamp will illuminate one time for approximately 0.5 second. This will
represent one unit of ten. There will be approximately a one second delay and
then the Lamp will illuminate three times for approximately 0.2 seconds with
0.2 second delay between deflections. This will represent three units of one.

• The Lamp will illuminate two times for approximately 0.5 second with
approximately 0.3 second delay between deflections. This will represent two
units of ten. There will be approximately a one second delay and then the Lamp

Diagnostic trouble codes may be cleared by disconnecting the battery ground cable for
at least 20 seconds. Reconnect negative battery cable and recheck codes to

Possible causes: faulty RES switch; replace control switch.

Code 23 Does Not Cancel After Releasing Brake Pedal
Possible cause: faulty stoplight switch circuit. Replace
stoplight switch or repair wiring harness as necessary. Perform
CIRCUIT TEST NO. 7.
Code 25 Remains Set And Code 24 Does Not Set Even Though
Vehicle Speed Reaches 25 MPH Or More
Possible cause; faulty Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) circuit.
Repair VSS circuit. Perform CIRCUIT TEST NO. 5.
Code 26 Remains Set After Selector Lever Is Moved To Anything
But "N" Or "P" Position
Possible cause: faulty Park/Neutral (P/N) position switch.
Replace P/N switch or repair wiring harness as necessary. Perform
