The document describes 15 different types of waveforms that can be analyzed using a diagnostic tool to understand the operation and status of various components in the engine control system.

The different types of waveforms described include fuel injector pulses, ignition signals, sensor signals from camshaft, crankshaft, throttle position, knock, VVT, engine speed, vehicle speed, and CAN communication.

Analyzing the waveforms can provide information like engine RPM, sensor readings, valve timing operation, fuel injection timing, and detect any abnormalities. The wavelength becomes shorter as the corresponding parameter increases like engine RPM.
