Spending 15 weeks serving as a full time in-person student teacher in a fourth grade class at Linntown Intermediate in
Le i b g, PA. B cknell og am ni el allo i den eachers to be the lead teacher for 5-6 weeks.
Planning and executing lessons for all core subjects using the Understanding by Design format, differentiating
instruction to meet the needs of students with disabilities, attending meetings to discuss the needs of students.
Gaining experience with virtual teaching technology with programs such as Zoom, Google Classroom, Canvas, etc.
Part-Time Student Teaching | Spring 2020
Completed 15 weeks of bi-weekly full day student teaching experience in a kindergarten class at Baugher Elementary in
Milton, PA.
Created and taught lesson plans using the Understand by Design format for all core subjects, adapted to a very inclusive
classroom, completed an in depth case study for a student with an IEP, led the class alongside a substitute when the lead
teacher was on a temporary medical leave, and much more.
