Abstract

5G network is the latest technological innovation that is becoming the biggest in the world. 5G is

supposed to completely get rid of any connectivity issues throughout the service. In a world ran

by technology the best and fastest the network is required. Our proposal is to implement the 5G

technology into our company and build our own towers and place the strategically around the

world. This technology is super beneficial because, 5G is supposed to give people faster data

speeds, low latency communications, and higher data caps.

iii

4
Introduction

Purpose

We are wanting to implement 5G nodes specifically in Rhode Island. Official Future services

wants to help end “YouTube buffering” helping our consumers that will use our product.

Problem

Currently, Official Future services makes, owns, and operates 5G networking for 5G phones and

cell towers. We want to implement 5G nodes in order to help solve a big issue in today’s age:

network speed. Buffering/slow network is caused by 4G networking. Our 5G nodes will help

solve this issue by making 5G phones more practical to own, which will help increase the use of

5G networking. The 5g network will get rid of the inconvenience of “buffering YouTube

videos”. This isn't just a project for this state, it's an advancement in human ingenuity. You push

our whole world into a faster generation and give our children a world in which they can

discover, create, and flourish with no interruptions.

Description

We have proposed that we install a lot of nodes all over the place. Essentially to maximize

coverage and improve technologies. When you move behind one obstacle or sort of drive

through a city you actively switch between nodes that you are connected to. Similar to what we

do now with 4G towers but just much faster.

5
Benefits

Convenience

The way 5G is applied is simple. The 5g node towers are not moveable, but can detect when you

are near a tower connecting you to that tower. Figure 1, shows how a 5G node finds a way to

connect to you if you are near. It also disconnects from other nodes that are farther away to keep

them in use for others closer to the tower. This innovation makes internet surfing convenient.

While scrolling through Tik Tok the network will be powering the speed of your

loading/buffering time. This takes away

the long wait time to wait for a video to

load up, which can take up to 30 minutes

just for 5 more seconds of the video. This

would also add more feed to your phone

as it quickly loads new uploaded videos,

games, apps, etc. The manufacturers can

install small 5G towers as there is a need

for so much data. When more of these

nodes are installed, there can be up to 70%-90% increase in 5G sales.

New World

This network is much faster than what this generation is used to. That's the part that kind of

scares people. It all seems like a brute force way to actually go fixing the problem but that is the

plan. Blanket areas with these lower powered cells that let you switch between them very

quickly. Instead of one giant 4G tower like we have now. An infrastructure where you cover an

6
entire city, and eventually an entire country in these 5G nodes is going to be incredible and life

changing. The future of 5G is bright if the infrastructure happens as planned. Then we are able to

bring in new world technology easily and efficiently, such as, virtual reality streaming and

networks of autonomous cars that are all internet connected and talking to each other. Think

about remote surgery with a 5G connected to a robot hand operating on a doctor's patient that is

miles away. The possibilities are endless.

Cost

Estimated cost

In total, the project is intended to cost roughly $2,430,000 in the first year of testing/operation. It

is $30,000 per tower that is made in 5G and our goal is to install approximately 83 just in Rhode

Island. Digging into concrete and dirt, seen in figure 2, then installing a new specially designed

one will demand $30,000 or more. The materials, including machinery and tools, will be

approximately $25,000-

30,000. All our employees’

wages from every sector,

combined after one year,

amount to 1,780,000. After

the towers are built,

regular maintenance is

priced at 10,000 a year.

7
Covering the Costs

Official future services are allocated certain grants and loans, such as research project grants and

grants from the Verizon Provider company for sponsoring their network on the 5g towers. The

government also helps out by giving our company permission to build on their land.

Through a series of surveys with certified manufactures we have gathered information regarding

our project and what means are necessary to complete this part of it in Rhode Island, province. In

addition, we will have merged with 5 other major well-known companies, all of whom help

support the business costs in exchange for a small percentage of sponsorship and profit. We

would like to merge with construction, property development, electrical systems, mobile

technology, mobile inspection, and power producing companies. Another good ally on our team

would be a university with a good mechanical engineering program, such as Texas A&M, to

benefit the students and ourselves when it comes to 5G research and training.

Of course, every business profit from the customer in some way. We will charge $70 to use the

data plan to offset our sales taxes. We plan to break even and become profitable by the end of

our fifth year.

Features

Official Future services 5G nodes will use the data that is being transferred to the phone for only

what is needed. The amount of energy used will be recorded on the phone accordingly. 5g will

also have a setting where you are able to turn it off at any time if needed. 5G is perfectly safe to

the human body. The 5g network will also have some safety features so there will be no harm to

the phone. The tower would connect to the phone, but the device must maintain connection to the

areas where it is known to have 5g towers. This is a safety feature so there is not too much power

8
gathering up in one spot causing the 5g phone to overheat and patiently frying the battery.

Included with this feature the 5G connects and disconnects according to the consumer’s position.

This means you will be reconnected to 4g connection if in any area that does not contain 5g

towers. Also, the power supplied for the 5G network speed is traveling in wavelengths so it is

safe to walk through it.

Concern

The biggest issue facing 5g speeds is the standing conditions they work in. you can only

experience the full potential of the 5G network if you have a 5g network, a 5G phone, with a 5g

node in range of you. It isn't yet possible to just simply get a 5g update to a 4g phone to just

enable 5g. The unfortunate problem we have is the higher the frequency of the network the lesser

the range, as you can see in Figure 3. The wavelength only travels good when in direct line of

sight. So, things like trees,

walls, and buildings disrupt

the high frequency signals.

Even something as simple as

rain can stop the signal

reaching a far length. That is a

huge problem that's why

official futures are proposing this innovative way of solving this issue effectively. There are still

cons like any other technology that is made “it can be better for the future” (official future’s

mission statement). One other thing that is concerning is the 5g phones getting too heated and

becoming fried no matter how high the network speed.

9
Conclusion/Summary

Official Future services goals are to help this world become more innovative and creative to help

us plan a better future for generations to come. That is why we are pushing towards 5g cell

towers to try and improve our technology outlook on the world. We want our videos downloaded

faster and available for people who live in Rhode Island, providence in the coming years. It will

provide a more efficient form of browsing the internet as well as keeping up with the latest news.
