1. Manuscript Speech- This kind of speech uses a manuscript/ copy of the text
delivered before an audience.
2. Impromptu Speech- This kind of speech intends to answer a question,
issues/ concerns before an audience without any preparation.
3. Extemporaneous Speech- This kind of speech is planned and prepared
speech.
PRINCIPLES OF SPEECH DELIVERY

1. Keep your words short and simple.


2. Avoid jargons, acronyms, or technical words because they can confuse your
audience.
3. Make your speech more personal.
4. Use active verbs and avoid contractions.
5. Br sensitive to your audience.
6. Use metaphors and other figures of speech to effectively convey your points.
7. Manage your time well.

PRINCIPLES OF SPEECH DELIVERY


1. Use a conversational styles more often.
2. Look your audience in the eyes.
3. Modulate your voice well.
4. Vary your rate speed.
5. Pause to emphasize points.
