    1) A mock drill was conducted at the Jamnagar yard to simulate a snake bite emergency. 2) When a worker was bitten, the emergency was immediately declared and the first aid and rescue teams were alerted. The victim was transported to the hospital within 10 minutes. 3) The observations from the drill found no delays in raising the alarm but that the stretcher was not in the designated location. Recommendations included conducting snake bite awareness training.

    ON EMERGENCY STIMULATED:-

    Details: - scenario: During work Mr, Intaquam shouted due to snake biting.

    The Emergency stimulated by Mr. Rajkumar shah

    Immediately emergency declared by Mr. Arjun singh as per Mr. Hanumantha koli’s Instruction.

    Mr.Rajkumar shah Information passed to Security guard Mr. Rajendran and Incident controller Mr
    Arun Ghosh.

    First-aid team alerted and moved to the victim place.


    Emergency rescue team shifted victim from work place to vehicle for admitting a nearest hospital.

    16.21 Emergency team Arrived to Victim location
    16.23 All persons assembled at assembly point.
    16.23 Mr.Shrey Kanabar Informed to Issac John & he calls to
    emergency vehicle which is present in yard to victim place.
    16.25 Injured person shifted to Emergency vehicle.

    16.30 After assessing the situation, all clear siren raised by Mr.
    Rajendran

    Emergency preparedness: -
     Snake bite awareness given to all employees.
     All employees aware about the first aid box location.
     All Rescue equipment set-up done at work place prior to start the activity.

     No time delay for raising an Alarm.
     Stretcher was nor properly used.
     Stretcher was not at designated location.

    Recommendation:

    Snake bite awareness session was conducted.

    Precautionary measures for snake bite was demonstrated.

    Do’s & Don’ts was explained.
