    The WEJLOKTM line of aluminum connector follows the widely successful fired-on wedge pressure
    technology for line tapping of aluminum to aluminum, aluminum to copper conductors including AAC,
    AAAC , ACSR.
    The connector consists of an aluminum alloy “C” member and wedge member. After positioning the main
    and tap conductors, the wedge member is driven into the “C” member using WEJLOKTM installation tool.
    The members are secured permanently in between the conductors giving a durable, cool and low
    resistance connection that far exceeds industry standards and proves superior to traditional bolted and
    crimped connections.

    The wedge and “C” member is made from pure hardened


    aluminum alloy. When the wedge is driven to the “C”
    member, it acts likes a spring that compresses both
    conductors permanently against the middle wedge. This
    compression force gives the connector its mechanical
    strength as well as its connection integrity through out its
    service life.

    WEJLOKTM Unique design

    All WejlokTM wedge connector is designed with a perforated


    line which indicates the proper drive clearance on the middle
    wedge, to ensure perfect connection every time. A raise stub
    can be seen to give visual confirmation on proper locking of
    the wedge to the “C” member.
