    Sol:- Consider first = 10cum Unit = 1cum


    a) Materials = quantity b) Labour = quantity in no's
    1 Cement 0.57 -17bags Head mason half
    2 sand 3.42cum Mason 10
    3 Aggregate 12.5cum Mazdor 15

    NOTE:
    For size stone masonry in founation the stones
    Therefore it is considered as 25% for 10cum.
    25/100 x 10 + 10 = 12.5 cum. 25/100 x10
    2.5 + 10 = 12.5 cum

    Calculation of materials :
    Volume of mortar for 10cum is 4.0 cum ( mentioned in SR Book)
    1 Cement = 4/ 7 x 1 = 0.57cum
    ( Volume of 1 bag cement= .0347) cement - 1
    No.of cement bag =0.57/0.347 =17 bags sand - 6

    2 Sand = 4/7 x 6 = 3.42cum

    rate per unit for 10cum = 30418/10 = 3041/cum
