The Gift
by: Myra P. Quiblat

5
One day, I saw Julia playing with her younger sister in
their room. She enjoyed talking, singing, and dancing in front of
her sister. She even used an instrument, a baby toy, to produce
sound. They were both happy until Julia told her sister, “Do you
want this toy? It is from your ninang. Hold it tightly.” Julia did
her best during that time just to please her sister.
While in the kitchen, Lucbar cooked fried fish for lunch.
He is a kind and responsible father and husband. He is always
dear to me.
We are very much thankful to God who gave us this great
blessing, a happy and healthy family.
