One day, Mother asked the three brothers to look for
malunggay leaves that she would need to cook for dinner. The
three brothers went out to the river shore where there are a lot of
malunggay plants. They were quarreling as usual, who will hold
the leaves, search for the plant, get the leaves from the plant
and it goes on and on.
On their way home, after collecting the leaves, the
youngest brother, Lucas, accidentally slipped from the river
shore. He fell into the river, but quickly held on to the small branch
attached to a tree.
“Lucas!” Miguel cried out,” hold on! Don’t let go!”.
Without even being told, Mateo held on to a bigger branch
and stretched out his body. Miguel held on to Mateo’s legs and
stretched out his body so that Lucas can hold on to his legs.
Quickly, but carefully, Lucas held on to Miguel’s legs until he was
able to climb out of the river. The two older brothers quickly
climbed out of the river, too.
Without saying a word to one another, they all looked at
each other and gave one another the tightest hug they ever
shared.

Soon, he found out what looked like a damp spot. The
plants in that spot grew well. The leaves on the ground were wet.
So, the dog dug with all his might. Not very long after, water filled
the hole he had dug.
The dog dipped his tail in the water. Then, he ran as fast as
he could to his master. He placed the tip of his tail in the hunter’s
mouth. Soon, the hunter opened his eyes and he sat up. Then, he
stood up and followed the dog to the mountain well. The dog
saved his master’s life.
People who saw the mountain well called it Bobon Aso or
well of the dog. Later, they called the mountain itself Mount
Bobon Aso.

fast, the cab driver yelled at him. Suddenly, he looked at the
back seat of the cab, he was surprised to find a black wallet on
the seat. He checked in it and found a lot of cash and some
cards in it. He was very glad.
“Just the cash that I need,” he said to himself. But he
thought of the poor owner of the wallet. The wallet was not his.
The cab driver decided to bring the wallet to the police

If you are to retell the story to a friend , how will you retell it?
This is how we retell the story The Red Bag with Cash.
First, Sister Rica went to the market to buy foods for the nuns.
While on her way, a pickpocket got her wallet inside the bag.
Next, the cop ran after the pickpocket. The pickpocket got
inside a cab and told the driver to drive fast.
Then, the pickpocket left the cab because of the heavy traffic
without knowing that he left the wallet in the cab. The driver saw
the wallet and brought it to the police station.
Finally, the wallet was returned to Sister Rica.

not to leave her. She had nothing to eat and drink. She wanted
to go with them but she could not fly.
The swans felt so sorry for their friend that at last they
thought of an idea and said to the turtle. “We have a plan. We
will hold on each end of a long stick. You must hold onto the
middle of it with your beak and never let go. You must not talk as
long as we are carrying you. If you open your mouth, you will fall
to the ground.”
The turtle promised not to say a word. The swans flew into
the air carrying the turtle on the stick between them. As they rose
above the treetops, the turtle wanted to talk but she
remembered the warning.
Soon, they passed over a small town and a few people
looked up and shouted, “Look at the swans carrying a turtle.
What a silly sight.” The turtle got angry and shouted,” Why don’t
you mind your own business?” As she shouted, she let go of the
stick and fell to the ground.
