manager can’t be sure about the future. Therefore, strategic management involves a high degree
of uncertainty.
Managers in different departments in an organization have different priorities. They must reach
an agreement to ensure an. integrated approach. Strategic management needs an integrated
approach, which is difficult to achieve.
Strategic management involves major multifarious changes in the organization. It heeds changes
in organizational culture, leadership, organization structure, reward system, etc.
All this makes strategic management complex.

There are some benefits of a strategic approach to managing. These are as follows:-
Providing better guidance: Managing a strategic approach provides better guidance to the
entire organization on the crucial point of “what it is we are trying to do”.
Alertness to the new opportunities and threats: Managing a strategic approach makes
managers and organizational Members more alert to new opportunities and threatening
developments.
Unify the organization: Managing a strategic approach helps unify the organization. It helps in
achieving harmony in various activities and functional departments of the organization.

helps in creating a clear and detail picture of management and administrative style of any
organization.
Developing a business model: Managing a strategic approach promotes the development of a

constantly evolving business model that will produce nonstop bottom-line success for the

to student, as long as assignment due dates are met.
Review lectures instantly: In many online programs, however, students can review words from
professors instantly, either by rewinding the audio or video or by reading the transcript that
accompanies the lecture.
Improved student attendance: Since online classes can be taken from home or location of
choice, there are fewer chances of students missing out on lessons.
Flexible learning schedule: On-campus students may have to endure in-person lectures that last
hours. While not all online programs are built the same, many use PowerPoint presentations and
other media that students can digest in pieces. In other words, a student can experience the ﬁrst
half of a lesson one day, and the second half the next day. This can be especially helpful for
those who don’t enjoy sitting in one place for too long.
Cost: Although the cost of an online course can be as much or more than a traditional course,
students can save money by avoiding many fees typical of campus-based education, including
lab fees, commuting costs, parking, hostels, etc.
Career Advancement: Nontraditional learners enjoy two significant advantages of online

classes related to career advancement. First, a certificate or degree can qualify an employee for a
raise. Second, some companies restrict management-level positions to employees who possess a
bachelor's or master's degree. Earning a degree can lead to a promotion that may also involve
increase wages.

Adaptability Struggle: Switching from traditional classroom and face to face instructor training
to computer-based training in a virtual classroom makes the learning experience entirely
different for students. Their resistance to change doesn’t allow them to adapt to the online
learning environment, whereas it takes time for them to get accustomed to Course Management
Systems and the methods of computer-based education.
Technical Issues: Many students are not provided with the high bandwidth or the strong internet
connection that online courses require, and thus fail to catch up with their virtual classmates.
Their weak monitors make it hard to follow the Course Management System and their learning
experience becomes problematic.
Computer Literacy: Although students are generally tech savvy and thus able to manage
computers well, lack of computer literacy is a major issue among students today. Many of them
cannot operate basic programs such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and therefore are not
able to handle their files. Furthermore, many students find fixing basic computer problems
troublesome, as they have no knowledge in this area.
Inability to focus on screens: For many students, one of the biggest challenges of online
learning is the struggle with focusing on the screen for long periods of time. With online
learning, there is also a greater chance for students to be easily distracted by social media or
other sites. Therefore, it is imperative for the teachers to keep their online classes crisp,
engaging, and interactive to help students stay focused on the lesson.
