1. Find the value of a, so that x=1 and y=1 is a solution of 9ax+ 12 ay=63 (a=3)

represented by equation y=2x-1, then draw the graph of work-wages equation. From the graph, find the
wages of the labourer if he works for 6 hours. ₹

11. Draw the graph of two lines, whose equations are 3x-2y+6=0 and x+2y-6=0 on the same graph paper.
Find the area of triangle formed by two lines and x-axis. (12 sq units)

12. Five years ago the age of Maya was seven times the age of her son. The age of Maya will be three times
the age of her son in five years. Represent the situation as an equation and draw its graph. Find the
present ages of mother and son. (10 yrs, 40 yrs)
