    RESOLUTION NO. 2016-105

    A RESOLUTION GRANTING AUTHORITY TO HON. MILBERT L. OLIVEROS, THE


    LOCAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE CAVINTI, LAGUNA TO ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM
    OF AGREEMENT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND
    DEVELOPMENT (DSWD) FIELD OFFICE IV-A REGARDING THE TRANSFER OF
    FUND TO LGU AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SOCIAL PENSION FOR INDIGENT
    SENIOR CITIZENS OF THIS MUNICIPALITY

    WHEREAS, the DSWD FIELD OFFICE IV – A herein presently represented by its


    Regional Director, LETICIA T. DIOKNO, is mandated to provide social welfare
    development programs particularly through technical assistance and resource
    augmentation;

    WHEREAS, the Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizens is an additional


    government assistance to augment the daily subsistence and other medical needs of
    indigent senior citizens is an additional government assistance to augment the daily
    susbsistence and other medical needs of indigent senor citizens;

    WHEREAS, the Fund Transfer to LGU was identified as a mode of payment to


    fast track the distribution of stipend of the beneficiaries and to strengthen partnership
    with LGUs in the effective delivery of programs and services;

    WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing, after mature deliberation on the matter,


    on motion of SB Member Elma P. Flores, duly seconded by SB Members Marlon F.
    Villanueva, Joel R. Ansay and David V. Blastique and by unanimous consent of all the
    members present, there being a quorum, it was

    RESOLVED as it HEREBY RESOLVED, to authorize HON. MILBERT L.


    OLIVEROS to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), for and in behalf of the
    Municipality of Cavinti, Laguna with the Department of Social Welfare and Development
    (DSWD) Field Office IV – A presently represented by its Regional Director LETICIA T.
    DIOKNO regarding the transfer of fund to LGU and implementation of social pension for
    indigent senior citizens of this municipality.

    RESOLVED FURTHER, that copiesof this resolution be furnished to the following


    for their immediate information and appropriate action:

    a) DSWD Field Office IV-A Alabang-Zapote Road , Alabang Muntinlupa


    City
    b) Hon. Milbert L. Oliveros, Municipal Mayor, Cavinti Laguna;
    c) All Department Head concerned;
    d) Hon. Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Laguna, Sta. Cruz Laguna; and
    e) All other agencies concerned.
