PROOF CHECKING/ VETTING REPORT
When a work of vetting/ proof checking is awarded to any proof structure section of SBCA shall hand over
following documents to Vetting Engineer.
1. Set of Structural Drawings provided by the Original Designer.

2. Set of Structural Calculation provided by the Original Designer.
3. Original Soil Report of the Project provided by the Original Designer.
4. Approved Concept Architectural Plan forwarded by concerned town.
5. Specified Vetting Performa.
VETTING REPORT & PROCEDURE OF VETTING
On receipt of above documents from structure section, vetting engineer shall thoroughly proof check the
design and drawings or make individual calculations wherever required. The vetting engineers should also
ensure the compatibility of structural drawings with approved architectural concept plan. In case vetting
engineer observe any discrepancy in design & drawing provided by the original designer. He should inform
in writing to original design for rectification along with a copy to structure section.
On compilation of job vetting consultants is required to submit vetting report on prescribed format. This
report will summarized the approached adopted and certify it by stamping and signing the final structural
drawing as VETTED drawings for submission in SBCA. By certifying and signing the vetting report and
vetted drawing and design the vetting engineer would assure equal responsibility with original design
engineer for the adequacy of structural design as required by code.
The following documents are required to be submitted along with vetting report in SBCA by vetting
Engineer.
Six sets of Structural Drawings dully Vetted and Signed by all Professionals and Owner of the Project.
Two sets of Structural Calculations dully Vetted and Signed by Structural Engineer and Proof Engineer.
Two sets of Soil Investigation Report with verified copy of Soil certificate.
4. Two copies of Vetting Report on the prescribe format dully signed and stamped by the proof Engineer
and structural Engineer.
5. Verified copy of the approved concept architecture plan provided by the SBCA.
