The Service Engineer is advised to consult the ERRoR CoDES
¡¡enu as soon as possible after the start of the r0aintena¡rce
operation. This is because the error codes are updated each
tiDe the Senographe is switched on. When additional errors
occur, the 1j.st i.s Boved uprdards, thereby erasing the
!¡essages at the top of the 1ist. (The CustoEer uay have
si{j.tched the equipaent 0N s¡d oFF several ti!¡es before the
Service Engineer aFived) .

- In 1-point Eode, the s¡¡al1 focal- spot is sglected along with the
filn/screen pair A (for SH'IoC¡RAPHE 500T and 600T only).

- Selecting La¡ge Focal Spot alld 2-point node, the EAs operating
factor is incoEpe.tible q¡ith the kV values displayed (see table of
¿hese inhibitions ür Jobcard RG 006: Adjusting & Checking nA a¡d
nAs values).
- The SENoffiAPIIE has Eade too ¡¡¡any closely spaced exposures at high
por¡rer. As an exaDple, after an exposure at 28 kV/600 nAs, the kV
hlindow re!&ins un.lit for about one oinute after the eDd of the
exposure. This ínhibit is not an effective protection for the
x-ray tube but a protection for the converter against excessive
heating of coEponents especial-ly the H5 resona¡rce coi.l- of the
3OO-PL1 board.

a¡cj¡gs are generated by the CPU board. It can be

E180 Cause: This code appears if the CPU board, pL12. i.s not able to
detect a¡ error source during the preparatÍo¡¡ phase a¡d
start of exposure.
