RESULT
(PRE-TEST AND
POST-TEST)
S.Y. 2020-2021
Ramon National High School
Oscariz, Ramon, Isabela
struggling students in reading must first learn at their own pace before moving to the next level
and the idea of staying at the comfort of their own homes while learning took a huge part in the
creation of the group.
The group shall have their own logo which is an armor like shape with symbols about
literacy and its name encrypted at the bottom part of the logo. The armor like shape signifies
the resiliency of teachers and students in pursuit of quality teaching and learning despite of the
adversities posed by the pandemic. Students who were found out to be struggling in reading
based from the result of their PHIL-IRI and unstructured interviews conducted from their
previous language teachers are the bases in inviting them to join the group. Learning how to
pronounce English words, parts of speech, stories and poems shall be the topics to be used in
devising audio-visual lessons. Language teachers from Grade 7 and 8, Ms. Alma May Cristobal
and Mrs. Franielyn M. Lungayan have started recording their audio lessons on Word of the
Day which is an activity under Guided Oral Reading, one of the reading activities included in
the adjusted school reading program.
The Grade 8 learners were the first one to gather many clients and so, their audio
lessons were aired both in the facebook group and messenger and will continue to do so until
the end of the fourth quarter.
