PRODUCT INFORMATION
Designed as a putty for use on new or previously painted exterior masonry surfaces
PURPOSE OF USE
such as brickwork, plaster, cement rendering, and asbestos cement.
COMPONENTS, COMPOSITION Cement (31-33%), Mineral powder (64-66%), Additives (0.4-0.6%), Resin (1.8-2.1%).
Coverage*: 1.0 – 1.2 m2/kg / 2 coats.
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Thickness: 2 – 3 mm / 2 coats.
Flash Point: Not applicable.
Density: 0.96 kg/liter.
Color: White.
FINISHING Finish: Matt Finish.
Pack Size: 40 kg.
QUALIFICATION CERTIFICATE
AAllow surfaces to cure and dry out at least 28 days. Large cracks must be repaired with cement. Make good all
minor defects with appropriate exterior grade fillers. Remove all loosely adhering residues by thorough
brushing.
Check for fungus and algae growth. If present, treat the surfaces with fungicidal wash by brushing on the
surface with bleach mix (1 part household bleach with 3 parts water). Allow the mixture to penetrate the
affected surface. Make good all defects with appropriate patching materials. When dry, remove all fungi, algae,
chalk, loosely adhering contaminants by using high-pressure water-jetting.

Drying time
Surface dry: 1-2 hours, Hard dry: 24 hours, Recoat: 1-2 hours.
APPLICATION Drying time are dependent on the thickness apply, temperature, and humidity.
Dilution: Clean household water.
Cleaning Up: Clean household water.
DILUTION RATIO Mix and stir homogeneously with 1 part of clean water with 2.5 parts of PUTTY eX 1.

Limitations:
- Not suitable for use on newly plastered walls that are not fully cured. PUTTY eX 1 works best on surfaces with a
moisture content of below 15% and alkalinity below pH-9 or otherwise premature paint failure may occur.
- Do not apply on the surface at temperatures of 40°C or higher.
* Practical coverage will vary according to the roughness and porosity of surface to be applied, the application method and condition, dry film thickness and the skill of
applicator.
