Topic Lesson I: Identify the Tone in word groups.

Concept/Summary:
In this lesson, we will learn to identify the tone in word groups. Also, we will learn to politely
respond to questions. Tone is the attitude of the narrator or viewpoint of the character toward story
events and other characters.

Tone – refers to the writers’ attitude towards their writing.


Study the emotions below. Match the correct word for each emotion. Write the letter on your
notebook.
