Summary
This role will focus on mechanical design engineering of test equipment, preventative and scheduled
maintenance, and calibration of test equipment. Also, Repair Shop new capability development and
sustainment activities including review of technical documents (CMM or TO), provide technical support
and advise to shop technicians, tooling/fixture design and development, and trouble-shooting skills in
support of aerospace components, including but not limited to hydraulics, pneumatics, avionics, fuel
systems, landing gears, and APU’s.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
Requirements
Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, or equivalent
· At least three years of experience performing mechanical design job duties in Aerospace or Defense
manufacturing business
· Proficient in SolidWorks, 3D modeling and creating drawings, GD&T, ANSI drawing standards
· Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication
· Knowledge of fasteners
· Knowledge of Aerospace manufacturing techniques and processes, mil spec standards
Language Skills
· English fluency; Spanish fluency a plus
Travel
· 5% local
