1.0 INTRODUCTION
The aims of this calculation are determine the recommended Pressure Relief Valves
(PSV) size Coalescing Filter (F-9000), Amine Contactor (V-1040), Sweet Gas Scrubber
(V-1050), TEG Contactor (V-1100), Residue Gas Residue (V-1110) and size Coalescing
Filter (F-909)
The potential for overpressure Coalescing Filter (F-9000), Amine Contactor (V-1040),
Sweet Gas Scrubber (V-1050), TEG Contactor (V-1100), Residue Gas Residue (V-1110)
and size Coalescing Filter (F-909) are external fire to the expose surface area of a vessel.
1. Dimension of vessel.
2. Valve set pressure, in psig.
3. Allowance Over pressure, %, (21% for fire case).
4. Environment factor, F, refers to API 520 Table D-3.
5. Latent heat of vaporization, l in Btu/lb, calculated by HYSIS.
6. Molecular Weight of vapor, MW.
7. Compressibility factor of vapor, Z.
5. Coefficient factor, C, for the above specific heat ratio as shown on API 520 figures

The pressure drop between vessel and valve are limited to 3%,
therefore in calculate orifice sizing the value of P 1 was 1.18 of design
pressure plus atmospheric pressure.
