Why the newest LCCT airport facing

some issues with the main LCC.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

Low-cost carrier terminal or LCCT a.k.a.


budget terminal is a specific type of
airport terminal designed with the needs
of low-cost airlines in mind. Though
terminals may have differing charges and
costs, as is common in Europe, the
concept of an all-budget terminal was
promoted and pioneered by Tony
Fernandes of AirAsia at Kuala Lumpur
International Airport in 2006.

INTRODUCTION This LCCT terminal is managed and


operated by Malaysia Airports (Sepang)
Sdn Bhd. In observance to the Low Cost
Carrier (LCC) business model, it is
designed to facilitate the passengers'
movement of international and domestic
departures and arrivals within a single
floor operation area.

SOLUTION

Solution-Plan the purpose of the project


by taking into consideration , the risk
management and scope in this case is to
finish klia 2 as per the initial project
planning without running away from the
schedule and cost and to clearly outline

In conclusion, The Kuala Lumpur


International Airport 2 (klia2) is the
World’s Largest Purpose-Built Terminal
for Low Cost Carriers to handle 45 million
passengers per annum; built at lowest
cost per passenger with aerobridges and
better passenger convenience,
CONCLUSION accommodating enhanced commercial
activities, and increasing in scope to
meet the Regulatory, Airlines, Airport
and Public requirements.
